You should quit traumatizing women sexually I should know I’m a medical doctor [What she said to you was what she said to me. And what she said to me was what she said to you. And that’s what I’ve been trying to say to you but you won’t listen to me so one more time: What she said to me was indeed what she said to you and what she said to you was indeed what she was trying in spirit to say to me and that’s why what I’m saying to you really should be what I’m trying to say to me because quite frankly I’m the only one here right now and I’ve been trying to tell you to tell me to remind you to remind me to remind you to remind me to remind you to remind me that…] (ok so like, what what music genres do you like? Oh oh me? Uh uh Oh I’m like I’m like genreless. Like like I like just like everything. Like there’s only like good music and bad music. I’m just like completely genreless. Like there’s just no genre that I like there’s no one genre no no there’s no one genre no no there would never be one genre like im just completely genreless i like everything just like i just like absolutely everything thing that ever happened… every single thing… that ever happened) She’s got a nicotine patch on her ass She got a nicotine patch on her ass (no cap) The man on the microphone He’s probably not making it out of this one Either by rope Or just by another formulation of the only fact there is: Change Tell me more about how I’m pretentious Tell me more about Phoebe Bridgers Tell me more about burning bridges No need to tell me more, I see right through you Merch Lincoln on the organ! They’re the kind of people that make you never wanna talk again Make you wanna cut out your tongue Make you wanna speak with sand and sticks I can see things I always know how the next 10 minutes will go And as I ride the accelerating future It all just blurs I hope it’s gonna be alright I know that you hate the door being held The pain of saying thank you Is so so much worse than having to push for yourself Luke and Ethan in the airplane over the sea That watches over me Put a little dorm house in your soul Not to put too fine upon on it Say i’m the only mug to your gromit Make a little dorm house in your soul Not to put too fine upon on it Say i’m the only tree in your sonet Make a little dorm hall in your soul I don’t know about you But I’m feeling twenty, too Everything’s gonna see alright If we just keep acting like we’re twenty, too It feels like one of those nights We chief the whole bag It feels like one of those nights We won’t stop chiefing It feels like one of those nights Man look at the view This all just bad news Can I hit the vuse? Fuck it, jailbreak the tesla! I’m more than adequate Leave TJ out of this Leave your Rikaloff in the cabinet And touch me like you mean it this time Francis I’m more than adequate Leave my scholarship out of this Keep your improv, keep your status And Fuck me like you mean it this time Francis I’m more than adequate Leave TJ out of this Leave your Rikaloff in the cabinet And punch me like you mean it this time Francis I’m more than adequate Leave my scholarship out of this Keep your improv, keep your status And Fuck me like you mean it this time Francis You know Theo, I think it’s time to stop being so negative There’s a lot of fun to have here When you’re not having your mind brutally fucked from every possible angle You can sit on the beach and watch the water Look at the diffraction patterns and go “Wow that’s cool” A moment like that is worth the money alone And not just the pain, you went back home You went back home and home isn’t home anymore So let’s go back home again Yeah we’re wasting away again Back in Tuajandaville Buying fresh suits again Hoping we can pay the bill Don’t need money Don’t need fame Just need some rikaloff to keep me tame Zamn!!! What a hot dame wait this shit sounds like slint :/ (WHAT SHE SAID TO YOU WAS WHAT SHE SAID TO ME AND WHAT SHE SAID TO ME WAS WHAT SHE SAID TO YOU AND WHAT SHE SAID TO ME WAS WHAT SHE SAID TO YOU WAS WHAT SHE SAID TO ME AND WHAT SHE SAID TO ME WAS WHAT SHE SAID TO YOU AND WHAT SHE SAID TO ME WAS) [HOW MANY TIMES I GOTTA TELL YOU DUDE I’M JUST TRYNA FUCKIN KICK IT OLD SCHOOL! JUST… I LISTENED TO EVERY FUCKING THING THAT EVER HAPPENED EVERY SINGLE FUCKING ALBUM THAT EVER CAME OUT HAS GONE THROUGH MY EARS AND I UNDERSTAND THEM. Hair Cut 08:07
I walk into the bedroom And I see his goofy fucking hair cut Waving back and forth The band in the other room Is the Saint Mary’s Jazz Club And in the room downstairs All I can think of Is the lacrosse team playing Settlers of Catan The jazzband is inaudible From the room in which I stand in front of And I’m looking at you under him And brought to one question Do you like it? Do you like it? Do you like it? Do you like this?

Catch 22 03:28
Find myself in the second to last chapter of catch 22 I know nothing’s wrong I sat on the bench sobbing Wondering why no one else was Dust on the floor Like dust from before Dust on the floor Like dust from before When I walked outside I saw the sun I saw the light Oh how could we share, oh share the same world I still find my heart burning Oh This is the best ending This is the best way that we could say bye I’m glad for you I don’t know about happy You say “you’re not special She treats everyone this way” That’s why I love her She [REDACTED] the day The air is real How is it the same air? The air is real Feel my dying lung The world it glows The light I love The world it glows My dying eyes Now here’s the sun, it's alright (lies) Now here’s the moon, it's alright (lies) Find myself bleeding Find myself still needing Find myself bleeding Find myself still needing Find myself bleeding Find myself still needing Find myself bleeding Find myself still needing Find myself in the second to last chapter of catch 22

It sucks the light out And blows with saliva across everything And when it’s dark it inhales When it’s darkest it inhales you You see I remember a time not long ago I’m being dead serious it was like yesterday it’s not that usual exaggeration I mean the words I say That’s something you can’t understand I mean the words that I say Can you believe that? Ritchie said I don’t think it’ll snow no more The most of his problems from my point of view The least of mine from his Do you dream? Do you sleep? Do you bomb? Do you promise? Do you sleep? Do you dream? Do you, baum? Do you promise? It’s over. Just please don’t tell me it’ll get any worse The definition of rock bottom is that it doesn't get worse But every time that I visit It just gets worse I hear the planes above me I hold my breath no matter what the TV just said It could have just been mario all day Played by my brother my little brother strats boneless, or, from my older brother brother’s perspective, it’s still me I’m still holding oh holding my breath Like a light switch (it’s headed straight to you) in the background (it’s headed straight for you) Like a switch (it’s headed straight for you) It ends. You see I remember a time not long ago when my momma said That she wished mushroom clouds weren’t so beautiful I wish they weren’t so beautiful The most beautiful fact about everything, everything you can think of The most beautiful fact about everything, Everything that’s headed for you It ends

about

Liner notes:

This record was written during my first year at Saint Mary’s College of Maryland. One night while I was out with a couple of friends, we were led to a townhouse labeled A4. There was a band playing quiet but fun indie type songs. I struck up a conversation with the singer after they finished and we talked a little bit about music. He offered me the guitar to play something and I changed the mood to say the least. I remember when we were in the middle of an improvised punk song the bass player, drunk out of his mind, got up off of his amp and screamed “where have you been all of my life!?” That little moment made me really happy. I went back there nearly every weekend to perform new material I was writing at the time and to come up with new songs on the spot, and that’s where most of this album was written: right up there (up there meaning in the corner of a townhouse) on stage, on the spot, all off the dome. Every show I’d try to refine the songs and respond to the energy of the drunk seniors. I later performed with all of these guys under the name “The Dirty Palms'' at the Bottom County Music Festival in Saint Mary’s. The show was insanely fun and the people seemed to enjoy what [leftist wall of text] we were doing, and for all kinds of reasons too personal to put here, that was the happiest day of my life. I hope this album makes some kind of sense of that and communicates why playing with those guys and making something good out of one of the darkest times of my life was so important to me.
